Cross & Orange

When restaurateurs Bob and Chris Fahey and Andy McBride set out to open a new restaurant in downtown Asbury Park, NJ, they sought M studio’s panoptic marketing and public relations services in order to develop the restaurant’s brand identity and to generate buzz. 

Inspired by the restaurant’s completely from-scratch menu, M studio drew influence for their branding from the hands-on hustle and bustle of mid-19th century America and developed the name Cross & Orange, a reference to two intersecting streets of early New York City’s Five Points. After establishing the restaurant’s name and brand identity, we consulted on interior design, held a photo shoot to capture imagery for their their fully responsive website, and laid out their signage and printed collateral. 

As Cross & Orange set to open, the M studio public relations team organized their press dinner and secured press both online and in print. Since the onset of their public relations campaign, M studio has placed 37 stories and secured 33,222,091 impressions.
