When working with Liquitex, the first art materials company to create a water-based acrylic paint, M studio established partnerships between the brand and international artists and secured opportunities for them to participate in public art initiatives and projects. In order to increase public awareness of Liquitex’s work within the arts community, M studio developed strategies and oversaw brand management for all artist relations and philanthropic campaigns.

M studio’s public relations and communications teams were responsible for executing community outreach and artist interaction throughout the United States, and we supported these efforts further through creative consultation and art direction. Our team developed a plan of action to engage artist community groups and individual artists. We partnered with blue-chip artists, emerging artists, and established artists, and we documented events and interviews with video production and photography.

Through public relations and social media management services, M studio utilized photo and video assets to raise brand awareness for Liquitex and to promote brand partnerships. We helped Liquitex build relationships with art community influencers including Jonathan LeVine Gallery and Miami Marine Stadium. We also oversaw and managed their annual involvement in Miami Art Basel as well as numerous mural projects throughout the country. To further support the PR and social media outreach, M studio’s graphic designers and copywriters conceptualized and laid out ads for popular art publications including Juxtapoz Magazine, with whom we established an ongoing relationship. In addition to securing ad space in notable media outlets, M studio also helped to educate audiences and influence investment in the brand by developing, designing, and writing a quarterly brand-specific publication for distribution at nationwide art retailers.

Throughout this multifaceted campaign, M studio’s publicists reached out to high profile artists, promoted community events, announced products, secured sponsorships, and coordinated Liquitex’s involvement in newsworthy and promotional events. We succeeded in securing press in outlets including Animal NY, Art Hound, CNN Headline News, Complex Magazine, Hi-Fructose, Juxtapoz, My Fox Houston, Houston Chronicle, The Huffington Post, and The New Orleans Advocate.
